I believe a woman’s life should be her most intentional work of art, yet for years, I lived as a quiet presence in the margins of my own story. Like so many brilliant women navigating a "Dark Age," I was a master of the background—expertly tailoring myself to fit the spaces left over while my own creative brilliance sat on a shelf. I was so consumed with meeting expectations that I became a spectator in my own life, fading into the scenery so others could take the light.

The turning point
It took a "burn-it-down" mid-life crisis for me to finally stop looking at the frame and start looking at the truth. In that season of soul-searching, I didn't just find clarity; I found a Renaissance.
I was finally introduced to the Real Kimberly. She wasn't the one shrinking into the shadows; she was a woman of gumption, possessed by a terrifying amount of passion and the courage to finally inhabit the full height of her soul. When we finally met, I didn't cry. I simply looked her in the eye and said, "Pleased to meet you, Kimberly. About time you showed up."​​​​​​​​​
